In collaboration with Jo De Hulsters, we regularly share work processes and attempts to understand and explore our surroundings. The collaboration is based on a longing and desire to discover something. In the joint story on @the_Peephole, an Instagram story programme, we respond to each other: we take turns posting reactions to each other. These reactions appear in a smooth sequence on the story. A reaction can be a gesture, a thunderclap, a whisper... they are connected to one's own practice and connect at the same moment with the practice of the other. Being locked in a room can draw attention to small moments. Sometimes these are just sounds or physical sensations. We are like two rooms in a house:
we hear footsteps, coughing, furniture being moved, a vibrating mobile phone...
