My installation I still have a knot in my handkerchief resolves out of two texts that I wrote about knots, using sayings and metaphors as well as a rather analytic description of knots.
The two texts oppose each other with an on the one hand an analytical distanced manner and on the other hand a very poetic and sensitive approach.

I am interested into working with these interfaces oppose, challenge but also complement each other.
The drawings are abstractions of sociological modells on communication, formations of knot-making, as well as abstractions of various observations of interaction.

every knot has been knotted with care. every attachement holds some weight.

The installation becomes a system itself.
